« back to classes page
Many Casperites live in close proximity to mule deer. We see them in our gardens or strolling nonchalantly down our streets. Whether you love them or find them pesky, this class will be of interest. We will cover mule deer ecology and management including habitat, disease, management history, and predation. We will spend one day looking at key mule deer habitats and, hopefully, find some radio-collared females and their fawns. Be prepared walk a lot on the field trip. Wear appropriate clothing and walking shoes.
