No Bus No Fuss Field Trips

No buses for field trips; no worries. Join three field science and integrated curriculum experts to learn how to develop standards-based experiential learning opportunities for students using your own backyards. Create field trip lesson plans using botany, entomology, geology, and GIS mapping skills in school playgrounds and city parks. Gain the skills to integrate science standards with language arts, creating engaged K-6 students. One PTSB credit is included with your registration; one UW graduate credit is available for an additional $50 fee. Dress to spend the day outside in varying weather conditions. Lunches, snacks, and transportation will be provided. Natrona County School District teachers are eligible for a $200 BOCES tuition grant. Contact Sarah Schneider at 307-268-3847 for details.
