CourseGraphic The Black Death was one of the world’s most devastating pandemics killing millions in Europe and Asia. It altered European society just as it was emerging from the Middle Ages. We will examine the timeline of the Black Death as it swept across Europe, the social changes that followed, and new scientific information about the plague and its continuing effect in the world today.
