CourseGraphic Leaders can have a significant impact on an organization’s safety culture. To develop an effective safety culture, employees must trust that their leaders care about what happens to them. Supervisors demonstrate leadership by providing employees with the resources, motivation, priorities, and accountability for ensuring their safety and health and they understand the value of creating and fostering a safety culture. This class will cover how to enhance safety responsibilities and management systems, safety inspections, incident investigations, safety meetings, employee engagement, and promoting a positive safety culture. Support workers with on-going safety training, on-the-job training, and by the promotion of safe behavior.
