Explore the natural and cultural history of wild mustangs in the West. In addition to two lectures, visit the Green Mountain and Stewart Creek Herd Management Areas to see wild horses and learn about wild horse photography. Be prepared to spend the day in primitive conditions with no outhouse available. Dress for changing weather conditions, wear sturdy walking shoes, and be ready to walk on uneven surfaces. Bring a sack lunch, water, and snacks. Register and submit travel paperwork by Friday, Sept. 4. No refunds will be issued after the registration deadline. Driving your own vehicle is not permitted.
