ClassGraphic Build confidence with your home sewing machine while creating fun, practical projects in a supportive environment with instruction woven throughout. Explore beginner to intermediate techniques like threading, stitching, pattern reading, pivoting corners, sewing through multiple layers, and hemming while making bookmarks, potholders, bags, and aprons. Selected supplies are provided. Bring a sewing machine, bobbins, extra machine needles in sizes 12 or 14, fabric scissors, thread snips, a seam ripper, black and white thread, and straight or safety pins. Bring 2-4 yards of fabric and a coordinating spool of thread to the second class; the instructor will provide guidance at the first meeting.
