Hone your skills and learn to read water during a field trip to a local public fishing spot. Selected supplies are provided. Bring note-taking materials and a dozen flies, available at the Ugly Bug Fly Shop, to the first class. Wear clothing appropriate for the weather and activities. Ideal for beginners seeking hands-on experience and confidence in fly fishing. Register and submit travel paperwork, along with proof of fishing license and conservation stamp, available at sporting goods stores, by Wednesday, Sept. 2. Driving your own vehicle is not permitted.
