If you took the “Mule Deer” class last summer, you may remember the instructor, Justin Binfet, flushing sage grouse out of the brush during the field trip. Now is your chance to attend an entire class devoted to sage grouse. The first class will concentrate on sage grouse ecology and life spans. Then, enjoy an early morning field trip to a large sage grouse lek to observe one of the most spectacular mating rituals of any bird in North America. Dress in layers for cold weather. Mon., Mar. 26, is the last day to receive a fee refund.
