Join us for a fun daytrip to sites found in “A Field Guide to the Casper Mountain Area.” We will get a glimpse of the biology, geology, and history of the area as we visit these sites. Stops will include Rotary Park, Asbestos Turn, Morning Dew Mine, Strube Loop, and Braille Trail and overviews of Muddy Mountain, Alcova Hogback, and Bessemer Mountain. Information will include plant names and habitats, geologic formation names, and early mining history of Casper Mountain.
