Writers of fiction, nonfiction, memoirs, and poetry will share their own work and gain practice in practical genres of writing, including letters supporting and recommending others for jobs, personal job applications, grant letters, and obituaries. We will examine characteristics of plotting, description, conflict, dialogue, and editing.
