CourseGraphic Commercial sodas are often loaded with sugar and caffeine, which can have negative health consequences effecting muscles and bone density. Learn how to make simple soft drinks at home without having to buy an expensive Soda Stream© machine or other fancy equipment. Our method uses small amounts of sugar, fruit juice, and champagne yeast to create delicious soft drinks through lacto fermentation. We will discuss recipes and the history of soft drinks as we sample homemade batches of soft drinks. This is a hands-on class.
