CourseGraphic An Introduction to Creative Observation for Artists and Writers
Very often we fail to see what is right in front of our eyes or to actively listen to what we hear around us. There is a vast difference between looking at the world and actually experiencing the textures, colors, sounds and tactile sensations that fill it. The ability to immerse oneself in observing one’s environment without judgement or preconception can lead to increased ability as a writer, photographer, storyteller, and artist. This short course of instruction, experimentation, and practical exercises will put students on the road to a new way of experiencing their surroundings and translating those impressions into creative work.
