CourseGraphic Everyone has their favorite homegrown food but along with the decision to grow it come questions about what grows here, when you should start your plants from seed, and what is the best plan for growing your favorites. We will start out learning about planting timelines and succession, soil amendments, and companion planting. Next we will discuss how to use your space to grow a specific type of food with patterns for Salsa, Salad/Herbs, and Italian Cuisine gardens. Finally, we will plant onions and chives by seed in handmade paper pots to prepare for planting in your future garden.
