CourseGraphic Leaders can have a significant impact on an organization’s safety culture. To develop an effective safety culture, employees must trust that their leaders care about what happens to them in the workplace. Supervisors demonstrate leadership by providing employees with the resources, motivation, priorities, and accountability for ensuring their safety and health. Enlightened supervisors understand the value of creating and fostering a strong safety culture. Topics covered include how to enhance safety responsibilities and management systems, including safety inspections, incident investigations, safety meetings, employee engagement, and how to promote a positive safety culture. Learn to support workers with on-going safety training, on-the-job training, and by promoting safe behavior.
