On April 2, 1917, President Woodrow Wilson asked Congress for a Declaration of War against Germany. Four days later, our nation entered the Great War, which had already been raging for four years in Europe. The Wyoming Veterans Museum will present on the history of the Great War from 1914-1918 and the Mexican Border deployment of 1916-1917. Featured is a curator’s tour of the State of Wyoming’s World War I Centennial exhibit at the Veterans Museum and a hands-on “Soldier’s Life” discussion. These programs will feature actual WWI artifacts from the Wyoming Veterans Museum’s collections.
