By observing the natural patterns in the region and on your property, we can create low-maintenance, low-cost, and low-risk plantings and gardens that will produce flowers, fruit, vegetables, summer shade, beautiful fall colors, and wind and snow breaks. The class will include permaculture history and principles, mapping of observations and important elements in your landscape, diversity in native and natural plants for the Casper area, resource management including water planning and options, and turning thirsty lawns into gardens. Computer skills are not required to take this class, but the ability to use Facebook, search the Internet, and access email are helpful.
