People mistakenly believe that diamondback rattlesnakes live in Wyoming, but this is not the case. Wyoming is home, however, to two species of rattlesnakes: Crotalus viridus, the prairie rattler, and Crotalus concolor, the midget faded rattler. We will learn about Wyoming rattlesnake ecology, mythology, and close encounters of the slithery kind.
