Look at the history of the Casper Army Airbase and its relationship to the Casper in the decades after World War II. In addition to World War II, the Casper Army Airbase role during the Blizzard of 1949, in Civil Defense during the Cold War, supporting the Civil Air Patrol, and contributing to the growth of Casper and Natrona County is important. Participants will share their Casper Airbase memories and contribute to the development of a major museum exhibit that will open at the Wyoming Veterans Museum in March 2019.
