This introduction to bird identification will cover birding basics from using a field guide to entering your bird sightings into eBird. After two lecture classes, we will venture into the field and record what we see. The emphasis will be on native Wyoming bird species. Observing at an owl banding station will be available as an extracurricular activity. Bring a bird identification book and binoculars to class if you have them.
