Learn about the British Invasion, that period of music in America between 1964 and 1966 when American singers and groups took a backseat to the British. For many, the Beatles started the movement which also included The Animals, The Dave Clark Five, Herman’s Hermits, The Kinks, The Hollies, Petula Clark, Dusty Springfield, and others. Join Stereo Stan for the history and sounds of the British Invasion for two nights and then dinner and a movie on the third night where we will enjoy the Beatles’ landmark film “A Hard Day’s Night.”
