Learn the difference between hypnosis and hypnotherapy, how each practice developed, and how they are used in a therapeutic setting. Hypnosis is commonly associated with comedy acts seen on stage; however, it can be a powerful counseling tool. Hypnotherapy is a treatment intervention. Clients are induced into a relaxed state to focus on their inner feelings, relieve symptoms, resolve inner conflicts, or dissolve inner trauma. Hypnosis can empower and validate that we have all the answers within us. Experience self-hypnosis techniques to help relax and control your mind. The instructor is a licensed hypnotherapist.
