Learn the policies, procedures, rules and regulations, and legal implications of being a CNA II. Participants will learn about oxygen therapy, sterilization techniques, oropharyngeal suctioning, urinary catheters, gastrostomy and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) feeding tubes, elimination procedures, tracheostomy care, and assisting with peripheral IV fluids. Participants must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalency, current CNA license, and 1500 hours of work experience. The class cost includes the book.
