CourseGraphic  KEY Camp is a six-day summer resident program for gifted and academically-minded students. KEY offers unique enrichment opportunities and experiences in a variety of academic areas. Students investigate innovative ideas, participate in hands-on challenges, use their imagination, explore careers, and work collaboratively while acquiring 21st century skills. Qualified instructors and counselors facilitate the college campus experience and extracurricular activities.

Python Picassos: Coding Your First Masterpiece
Discover the exciting world of Python programming. Blend creativity with logical problem-solving to draw amazing patterns and pictures. Master critical thinking while practicing fundamental coding concepts like variables, loops, conditionals, decision structures, and command syntax, including objects, methods, and arguments.

ASL: American Sign Language
Open the door to expressive communication beyond spoken words with American Sign Language (ASL), the third most widely used language in the United States. Learn ASL basics and explore the vibrant history of Deaf culture in this highly interactive class taught by a native ASL user. Use your hands, facial expressions, and body language to communicate without speaking. Practice the alphabet, everyday greetings, and essential phrases so you can start signing with confidence and connect with others.

Mad Scientist Lab: Escape If You Can
A brilliant, and slightly unhinged, scientist has vanished. Now what? Learn how to think like a scientist as you step into a locked, high-security lab filled with puzzles, codes, and bizarre experiments. Solve cryptic clues, test wild hypotheses, and navigate complex challenges under pressure. Discover how scientific thinking helps you outsmart the system before time runs out.

CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
Get an inside look at crime scene investigation (CSI), and learn how first responders carefully process and preserve evidence when every detail matters. Discover how to systematically identify the “puzzle pieces” that help detectives successfully prosecute perpetrators and work as a team to save lives. Explore real-world investigative techniques and see how professionals build a case from the ground up.
