ClassGraphic Learn the various aspects of range safety in a relaxed classroom setting before visiting a shooting range. Discuss basic firearm safety and pistol marksmanship with a certified pistol, shotgun, and carbine rifle law enforcement professional. You will need a modern, unloaded, current-production pistol in your desired caliber or a semi-automatic handgun, along with magazines. Firearms must be in a secure pistol case or a zippered gun rug, with magazines stored separately. For the third class, meet at the Stuckenhoff Sport Shooters Complex. Ear and eye protection, along with a pre-class safety check, are required. Targets, cardboard backers, and range equipment are provided. Bring a sack lunch, snacks, water, and your unloaded firearm in a secure pistol case or zippered gun rug, with ammunition and magazines stored separately. A waiver is required. This class is for students 18 and older. ID is required.
