Guided Reading and Writing: Strategies for Maximum Student Achievement

By sixth grade many students already have trouble with basic reading and writing. These literacy problems affect performance across subject areas. In this course, you will examine the reasons why reading and writing are so difficult for students, learn the total literacy framework, and see how it mitigates literacy problems. This framework will help you find solutions to a variety of K-12 circumstances, including good writing habits and the traits of a productive writing conference. This class is approved for 1.5 WY PTSB credits.
