Your Personal GPS for Clerk Leadership: Recalculating When the Old Map No Longer Works by Dr. Jaimis Ulrich
Today’s Municipal Officers are navigating unprecedented change, increasing demands, and the rapid integration of artificial intelligence into nearly every aspect of work. Yet many are attempting to meet these new challenges with internal maps shaped by outdated expectations, inherited beliefs, and survival patterns that were never designed for the road ahead. In this engaging and reflective keynote, Dr. Jai Ulrich-Lopez invites participants to examine the subconscious programming influencing how they lead, respond to pressure, and define success. Using the metaphor of a personal GPS, she explores how Municipal Officers can recognize misalignment, navigate roadblocks, recover from wrong turns, and recalculate without shame. Participants will leave with practical tools for strengthening self-awareness, practicing intentional mental hygiene, and leading with greater clarity, humanity, and purpose in an age of constant change.
