This class introduces the basics of Sound for Houses of Worship, providing students with practical, hands-on training and experience. Topics covered include the fundamentals of audio equipment and the acoustic environment. Students will gain experience with microphones, mixers, amplifiers, speakers, and streaming setups, while learning to understand equalization, compression, bussing, wireless microphones, monitors, and master buss processing. Ultimately, this course will prepare students and increase their ability to design and operate sound systems specifically for houses of worship.

Note: There will be a one-hour break for lunch during each class period.
