Learn the art of loading cartridges for long-distance shooting. Explore topics such as measuring the rifle’s chamber with a specific projectile, annealing, brass preparation, cleaning, primer pocket reaming, resizing cases, bullet seating with match dies, setting neck tension, testing cartridge concentricity, and more. Finish with load development methods using a chronograph. Tools, reloading components, and a basic instruction manual are provided. Bring bullets, 10 to 20 once-fired brass, and a rifle with firing pins removed. The instructor will help with pin removal at the beginning of class if needed. Verify that proper equipment is available for your choice of ammunition. Basic reloading knowledge is essential. For more information, call 307-268-3401. This class is for students 18 and older.
