ClassGraphic Learn how to plan a safe, enjoyable hike and discuss popular trails in the Casper area. Review essential gear, basic first aid, and how to pack a first aid kit. Discover how to avoid getting lost and find your way by familiarizing yourself with the return route. Practice your skills outdoors during the second class — be prepared for uneven terrain. Wear suitable clothing and shoes, and bring all items from the hiking essentials list, which will be emailed before class. The hiking location will be determined based on weather conditions. This class does not focus on detailed map reading or navigation skills.
