ClassGraphic Learn firearm safety from a certified pistol, shotgun, and carbine rifle law enforcement professional. Start with a brief history of firearms and their role in modern society, then move into firearm and ammunition nomenclature. Explore basic firearm and home safety, firearm control, personal carry considerations, and care and cleaning. Discuss marksmanship and examine legal, moral, ethical, and practical aspects of concealed carry. Do NOT bring your personal firearm to class. The instructor will provide unloaded firearms for demonstration and practice. This class prepares you to apply for a concealed carry permit. Certification details are available. This class is for students 18 and older. ID is required.
