ClassGraphic Follow in the footsteps of pioneers by using a large, walkable floor map provided by the Wyoming National Geographic Alliance. Explore the historical and modern significance of water sources, as well as the crucial role rivers played during westward travel in the 1800s. Learn about Wyoming's diverse geography and what it took to survive the challenging journey. At the end of the lesson, students will go online to explore the National Geographic Alliance's online map resources to enhance their knowledge. Please remember to wear clean socks when walking on the map.
