
Step into history at Independence Rock and Rattlesnake Pass, two landmarks along the Oregon, Mormon, and California Trails. Discover pioneer names etched in stone and stories of emigrants who traveled west between 1840 and 1869 with an expert from the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center. This active outing includes primitive trails, climbing, and elevation changes. Dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring a sack lunch and water. Driving your own vehicle is not permitted.
