This class is designed for recording engineers wanting to further their understanding of recording and mixing music. It will be of particular interest to individuals involved in music recording and beat creation, including the mixing component. While there is an emphasis on music, vocals, and instrumentation, this course also applies to podcasters and broadcasters, composers, and singer-songwriters.

Throughout the sessions, the class will cover tracking, editing, mixing, and light mastering. Students will learn the specifics of recording instruments and vocals, as well as how to work effectively with beats. Additionally, the curriculum explores arrangement skills and the importance of individual parts, alongside recording techniques for making record-quality productions and a better understanding of gain structure for digital audio recording.
