CourseGraphic Individuals with a CNA II perform the functions of a CNA and can provide oxygen therapy, wound care, sterile techniques, oropharyngeal suctioning, urinary catheter, gastrostomy and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy feeding tubes, elimination procedures, tracheostomy care, and assist with peripheral IV fluids. Individuals with an MA-C can provide routine medications to clients. Instruction follows the Wyoming State Board of Nursing’s scope of practice. Participants will be qualified to test for licensure with the successful completion of this class. Participants must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalency, a current CNA license, and 1500 hours of work experience. Tuition includes the book and lab kit.
