Led by an expert from the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center, this excursion will take us to several pioneer graves and historic sites along the Oregon, Mormon, California, and Pony Express trails. We will make stops between Ayers Natural Bridge and Casper to visit pioneer graves and hear stories about the events of the time. This trip is rated challenging: some climbing and walking required, uneven surfaces, primitive trails with elevation changes, and no wheelchair access. Climate may not be suitable for those in poor physical condition. Driving your own vehicle is not allowed. Bring a sack lunch, water, snacks, and a hat. Wear sturdy walking shoes and dress in layers.
