Explore the natural and cultural history of wild mustangs in the West. In addition to two lectures, visit the Green Mountain and Stewart Creek Herd Management Areas to see wild equines and learn about wild horse photography. Be prepared to walk on uneven surfaces and spend the day in primitive conditions with no outhouse available. Dress for changing weather conditions and wear sturdy walking shoes. Bring a sack lunch, water, and snacks. The first two classes meet in LH 185. The third class is a field trip. The van departs from the Liesinger Hall parking lot. Driving your own vehicle is not permitted.
