CourseGraphic Travel is more accessible thanks to online booking sites, low cost airfare, and an increasingly global community. As the travel industry grows, people must consider the connection of travel activities and the related impacts. Gain an understanding of sustainable tourism principles and discuss ideas to lessen the negative impacts while increasing the positive benefits of travel. We will discuss animal interactions, environmental implications, food management, social media influence, and overtourism.
