Learn how to draw flowers in botanical and artistic styles. We will start with graphite pencils and add color with colored pencils, watercolor, or markers. Learn about values, flower forms, establishing the perspective of the bloom, light and shadows, and adding color. Open up your mind to learn this relaxing form of artistic creativity in a safe, noncritiquing environment.

Please read:  Bring to class: two graphite pencils, one hard (7H) and one soft (7B), drawing paper or watercolor paper, small 6" or 12" clear plastic ruler, eraser, color medium of choice, and a simple floral stem (something easy to draw such as a tulip, daffodil, or daisy) in a vase with water.
