“Ben-Hur” is an epic and classic drama starring Charlton Heston as an aristocratic Jew who incurs the wrath of a childhood friend who is now a Roman tribune. Forced into slavery on a galley and compelled to witness his family’s cruel persecution, Ben-Hur survives, dreaming of vengeance. We will show this film over two nights. Dinner each night will feature food that people ate during the times of Ben-Hur and Jesus. We will discuss the film and the traditional food. Wed., March 17, is the last day to receive a fee refund.
