This class provides the basics of Recording Engineering and prepares students for media production, including educational content. Topics covered include recording devices for podcasting, broadcasting, streaming, music, and educational applications. Students will learn essential techniques in recording, understanding microphones, analog-to-digital converters, gain structure, balance, and blend based on frequency and the audio spectrum.

Note: There will be a one-hour break for lunch during each class.
