ClassGraphic Explore the fascinating geological history of Casper and Muddy Mountain. Delve into the earth event that brought the mountains into existence, discover the types of rocks and how they affect the topography, and what the future has in store for them. Look at recent human history from the 1800s settlements and mining activities through the current day. Bring a sack lunch and water, and wear weather-appropriate clothes and shoes for the field trip. Be prepared for light hiking at high elevations on uneven terrain. Driving your own vehicle is not permitted.
